Global Resins approached Batheaston Parish Council with an offer too good to refuse.

The latest innovation within our safety range is self illuminating lighting technology which utilises zero-energy and provides pedestrians and cyclists with guides on pathways and areas where there is little or no light.

By day the discs absorb UV energy then release their light through the hours of darkness improving safety as well as providing an aesthetically pleasing effect.

Global Resins manufactured round, luminescent discs and installed them free of charge on a new footbridge.

In these cost cutting times when street lighting is being reduced, this has to be the way forward.
